# Run a payout

> Pay approved commissions to your partners by PayPal, Wise or bank transfer: generate, review and send a payout run from the Tolt dashboard.

A payout pays partners for their approved commissions. Tolt groups each partner's approved commissions into an amount owed and sends it with the payout method they connected.

The **Pending** and **Paid** tabs split payouts by state. Each row shows the partner, the amount, the commission period, the **method** (PayPal, Wise, bank transfer), and the status.

## How partners get paid

Each partner connects a payout method in their own dashboard, and Tolt uses it automatically. You can also view or correct a partner's method from their profile when needed. A partner is only payable once they have connected a method and cleared their minimum payout threshold. That threshold defaults to the value in [program settings](/dashboard/create-program), but you can override it for an individual partner or a group, so check the partner's own **Minimum payout** if they stay ineligible after crossing the program default.

## Run a payout

**1. Generate the payouts**

On **Payouts**, click **Generate payouts**. Tolt gathers every eligible partner (approved commissions, a connected method, the threshold cleared, and the payout term reached) and totals what each is owed.

**2. Review**

Check the amounts in the **Pending** tab and exclude anyone you want to hold.

**3. Pay**

Confirm. Tolt sends each partner their amount, moves the payout to **Paid**, and marks the underlying commissions **Paid**.
