# Agent skill

> Install the integrate-tolt skill and let Claude Code, Cursor or Codex wire up Tolt in your app.

The `integrate-tolt` skill teaches your coding agent the correct Tolt setup end to end, including the gotchas. One command installs it.

It uses the open [`skills`](https://github.com/vercel-labs/skills) CLI and works with any agent that supports [Agent Skills](https://agentskills.io): Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and others.

## What it does

The skill walks your agent through four parts, in order, and stops at the one you need.

1. **Track the click.** Adds the [tolt.js](/sdks/tolt-js) script, or [`<ToltTracking />`](/sdks/tracking) in React apps.
2. **Bind the customer.** Calls `tolt.signup()` for referred visitors and stores the returned `customer_id` on your user.
3. **Report revenue.** Sends each charge from your backend with the [SDK](/sdks/typescript), or relies on your [billing integration](/tracking/overview) so nothing is counted twice.
4. **Webhooks.** Optionally adds a verified handler with [`@tolt/webhooks`](/sdks/webhooks).

## Use it

Have two values ready: your **public key** (Dashboard → Settings → Integrations) and an **API key** (Dashboard → Settings → Integrations → Tolt API). Then ask:

The agent first checks whether you have a backend and where signup and checkout live, then writes the code.
