# MCP server

> Connect Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT or any MCP client to your Tolt program. Sign in with Tolt, no API key.

The Tolt MCP server lets an AI assistant read your program, run reports and, with your approval, make changes. It lives at `https://mcp.tolt.com`.

## Connect

The first time you use it, your client opens a Tolt sign-in page. You approve access and you're done: there's no key to copy or rotate. The server works in the organization currently selected in your Tolt dashboard.

**Claude**

In Claude (web or desktop), open **Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector**, name it `Tolt` and paste the URL:

Then click **Connect** and sign in with Tolt.

**Claude Code**

Run `/mcp` inside Claude Code to sign in.

**Cursor**

Add this to `~/.cursor/mcp.json` (or `.cursor/mcp.json` in a project):

**ChatGPT and others**

Any client that supports remote MCP servers works. Add a custom connector (or remote server) with this URL, using the streamable HTTP transport and OAuth:

## What it can do

80+ tools. Your assistant picks the right ones from your question.

* **Read**: partners, links, customers, transactions, commissions, payouts, invoices and more.
* **Report**: performance over time, top partners, funnel, revenue by product, dormant partners.
* **Fraud**: flagged commissions and partners, top refunders, reconciliation checks.
* **Write**: create and update records, approve or decline commissions and partners, refund transactions.

Reads never change anything. Every write is marked as such, so your client asks you to approve the call before it runs. It can also search the Tolt help center and explain commission flows.
